Julia Roberts asks $29.8M for Hawaiian beachfront estate

A two-acre Hawaiian beachfront estate owned by actress Julia Roberts has hit the market for $29.8 million.

Roberts and husband Danny Moder purchased the seven-bedroom, four-bath property for roughly $14 million in 2011, according to Curbed. The property is located on the northern shore of Kauai and once belonged to Hans Peter Faye, a notable sugar plantation manager.

“Gone are the days of expansive, open spaces at Hanalei. The Faye property is one of a few parcels that retain the large, open feel and the only one that is available for sale,” the listing says. [Curbed] Christopher Cameron
