The CEO of home goods giant Bed, Bath & Beyond, Steven Temares, has purchased a three-bedroom, two and a half bathroom home on the Upper West Side, according to the New York Observer. Its safe to assume that there will be plenty of towels.
Temares and wife Amy — longtime residents of Warren, N.J. — paid $5.5 million for the seven-room spread overlooking the Museum of Natural History.
The Observer speculates that the apartment, located at 40 West 77th Street, will likely serve as a pied-a-terre.
One downside: if the couple runs out of fans, middle-end cutlery or timesaving kitchen gadgets, the closest BB&B is a 15 minute walk away.
