The hottest Hamptons party this season had everything: Mette Sterre’s installation “Pink Eye Cray Cray” — a nine-foot creature covered in silk-wrapped pink balls; nude models covered with blankets; provocatively cut melons adorned with studs; a subterranean disco till dawn; and the “Swedish mafia” a “gaggle of the tallest, most beautiful Amazon blondes,” reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

The avant-garden party, thrown by wacky couple Carola Jain and her Credit Suisse managing-director husband Bob Jain on Saturday, was a VIP kickoff for Robert Wilson’s annual avant-garde Watermill Foundation benefit.

Looks like the days when art could shock the bourgeoisie are long gone.
