New app helps us shop better (and more)

We don't really need any help with buying things...
We don’t really need any help buying things…

Not sure what to do with that silk Rag & Bone camisole you bought for $395? Well you’re in luck; there’s a new app for that particular conundrum all impulse shoppers face, called Snap+Style.

Just take a picture of the item you’re confused about, and a stylist will get back to you in an hour (or a few) with up to 16 more items you can buy to build an outfit for any particular occasion you give them. The founder, Anna Jensen, told Vanity Fair that it’s “pretty powerful” to be able to have that direct line to a personal stylist in your pocket. To us, it just sounds pretty expensive.

What would be really helpful is if the app could prevent us from buying the camisole in the first place (or say, this Yamamoto Kimono shirt), so that we might be able to save our funds for more important items in life like a house or other adult things. Though what fun is that?
