Just in time for Rosh Hashana, media mogul Jimmy Cohen, heir to the Hudson News fortune, threw his daughter a $1 million Bat Mitzvah this weekend, Page Six reports. Guess all those $6 seltzer bottles you buy at the airport add up.

The action went down in a 10,000-square-foot tent outside the family’s home in Alpine, NJ. Somehow, we don’t think 13-year old Jaclyn had much say on the theme of the party, which was 1960’s Lily Pulitzer (yes, random is the right word to use here). For some reason, that theme translated to a bunch of butlers and robots; Segways; a diner with milkshakes and ice cream (these are 13-year olds, after all); a roller coaster simulator; and a performance by Nick Jonas that cost a reported $300,000. As for the decorations, think pink and grey satin, flamingos at every table and bird cages hanging from the ceiling. Here is how Jaclyn entered the party:

As one guest told the Post, “it was the most lavish party anyone has been to in a long time, like they used to throw before the financial crisis.” Ah, the good old days.
