After Kim Kardashian published a book composed entirely of selfies of herself called “Selfish,” Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bündchen obviously had to reply with a much classier (if equally naked) book herself, called, simply, Gisele.
But while Kim’s book is on Amazon for $9.95, Gisele’s is now available for pre-order for $700! The book will feature 300 photographs of the model from photographers like Irving Penn, David LaChapelle, Juergen Teller, Inez & Vinoodh, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott and Corinne Day. If you can unglue your eyes from the photos for two seconds, they will be “accompanied by tributes from Gisele’s closest friends, family, and fashion leaders, who shed light on how and why she has become one of the greatest models of all time.” Um, I think the photos speak for themselves.
The proceeds from the book do go to charity, which basically means you get to stare at pictures of the world’s most famous supermodel and feel like you are doing good for the world. A win-win scenario! Only 1,000 copies numbered copies signed by the model herself are being made, though, so you better act fast.
Still, in our view, no coffee table book beats Kramer’s coffee table book about coffee tables that turns into a coffee table. That is just too many levels of amazing.
