Tiffany’s launches new watch collection, CT60

When President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was famously quoted as saying, “There are many ways of going forward, but only one way of standing still,” he was surely foreshadowing Tiffany’s new watch collection.

“What better way to mark the passage of time than with the CT60, a new line of watches the storied shop?” [sic] ponders Town and Country’s recent (time) piece.

CT60 — named after Tiffany’s founder, Charles Lewis Tiffany, and alluding to his legendary phrase “The New York Minute” — was inspired by the gold watch FRD was given on his birthday in 1945.

The blast-from-the-past inspired line — a perfect melding of Americana styling and Swiss matchmaking — features a wide variety of “metals, movements, dials, bracelets and straps” that any man seeking the “new deal” on watches, would want to sport.
