So you bought a $2,000 bottle of wine. Where are you going to drink it?
Believe it or not, this is a real problem that some people have. But never fear, there is a solution. According to The Wall Street Journal, the latest trend for wealthy people who like to drink is to have areas separate from their wine cellars specifically for tasting. A tasting room, if you will.
One man, David Marino, spent $1 million on a 3,000-bottle wine cellar and tasting room — that works out to roughly $333 spent to serve each bottle. But it was all #worthit so that he and his wife didn’t have to experience discomfort while they indulge. “We didn’t want to have to listen to the refrigeration or freeze our butts off, but still wanted to be connected to the cellar and have that cellar-feel.”
Because it’s just not the same getting drunk without that “cellar-feel.”
