Pharrell Williams may not be so happy about having to list — yet again — his palatial Miami penthouse, this time for $10.99 million.
The singer has been trying to offload the place since 2013, when he originally listed it for $16.8 million (he paid $12.525 million in 2007), he chopped the price twice and then took it off the market.
It’s not a huge surprise why he wants to ditch the apartment; in a 2011 feature piece in W magazine, he said about his place “It’s like living in a very interesting fishbowl, but since no one can see up here, it’s like a fishbowl with a limo tint.”
The reporter, Mayer Rus, took it a step further, writing “More than a fishbowl, Williams’s penthouse feels like the world’s most luxurious tree fort.”
The listing, which Curbed spotted first, is a bit kinder, calling the pad “decadent.” In addition to a whole lot of peculiar contemporary art, the 5,000 square foot home has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater (where Pharrell says he likes to play video games) and a rooftop pool. Take a look at the photos and let us know if you find it “decadent” or absurd.
