Star Wars fans have a lot to be grateful for this Christmas season — namely, a new movie that isn’t completely terrible. If you are a rich Star Wars fan, though, why not ask for a little something more?
That something more is this $30,000 levitating pen from the Parisian luxury brand, S.T. Dupont. Only eight of these very special pens are being made and they are designed to resemble the lightsabers of Darth Vader and Jedi Master Yoda.
The reason that they float in midair, according to the Telegraph, is due to a magnetic system that works when the pen is connected to a power source. The pens are made from “bronze with black lacquer, palladium and rhodium with a brilliant-cut red topaz in the Darth Vader model and green in the Yoda version.”
Here’s a video if you don’t believe us:
We would place a considerable amount of money on the fact that at least one of these pens ends up on the desk of a Silicon Valley billionaire.
