Gwyneth Paltrow, lifestyle queen and conscious uncoupler, may live on a different plane than the rest of us (literally, she’s like seven feet tall), but sometimes, this fabulous gal just wants to be one of the people. Hence, when Gwyneth wanted to go on a vacation to Punta Mita, Mexico with her boyfriend and daughter Apple, she didn’t call up the Four Seasons to book a suite. No, she went to Airbnb and rented a villa that costs $40,000-a-week. What a woman of the people!
The home she rented is actually part of the Four Seasons resort (ok, ok), but we know she booked it on Airbnb because she captioned her Instagram photo “@airbnb who knew??” Literally everyone, Gywn. But it’s cute that you didn’t!
The home has six bedrooms, two infinity pools (because one isn’t enough!), a fire pit, home theater, snorkeling and tennis equipment, a cook, cook’s assistant, a lunch and dinner butler service, laundress, concierge and daily housekeeping. It’s also off the beach, though, be warned, the path down to the beach is “narrow and rocky.”

The listing (which, for the record is on Luxury Retreats, not Airbnb), gives a great idea how to spend your time while in the villa: “Whether you are curling up on the plush couches with a good read or sharing a special announcement around the lovely dining set, you will surely adore the romantic ambience.”
Oh my! We see how Gwyneth fell for that marketing copy!
