Bernard Spitzer, papa to fallen pol Eliot Spitzer, is moving today across his block in Midtown – to rental digs at Alwyn Court.

Spitzer’s new address will officially be unit 27A at 911 Seventh Avenue, just a short walk from his old home at 200 Central Park South. The real estate mogul put up the Central Park building in 1963 and sponsored its co-op conversion in 1984. Rent at the two-bedroom Alwyn Court pad, which boasts Central Park views to the north and Times Square to the south, is $12,750 a month.

The Spitzer family has deep ties to New York’s real estate market, with a portfolio totaling roughly $1 billion. [Michael Gross]Julie Strickland
