Famed interior designer gives $20M One57 condo detailed makeover

One57, the super-tall skyscraper on billionaires row (aka 57th Street) is best known for the sale of that record breaking, $100.5 million penthouse – no biggie. But that’s not all the super-luxury building has to offer. While certainly not record breaking, one other apartment in the building is at least very pretty.

Extell Development – the company behind the building –  paid designer Jennifer Post to fully design and furnish a $20.1 million apartment on the 45th floor of the building, which means everything, “down to the coffee table books and bathroom towels,” Report the Wall Street Journal.

Post spent about eight months and at least $1 million decorating the three-bedroom, 3,228-square-foot apartment. “She installed recessed lighting and Venetian plaster in the apartment and commissioned custom-made furniture. The televisions are already installed and wired, the drapes are in place, and there are soap and towels in the bathrooms.” Talk about turnkey!

All of the décor is included in the $20.1 million price tag. Although don’t rush for your checkbook, it doesn’t seem to have an official listing just yet.
