Actress Ellie Kemper swaps doomsday bunker for an Upper West Side co-op

Ellie Kemper – the actress best known for her roles in “The Office,” “Bridesmaids” and “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” – has just bought a three-bedroom co-op on the Upper West Side.

Kemper and her husband, writer and producer Michael Koman, bagged the duplex at 325 West End Avenue for $2.8 million.

Their new pre-war apartment comes with a grand entrance gallery, high ceilings, restored moldings, restored French doors, large bay windows, herringbone hard wood floors, and a fully appointed chef’s eat-in-kitchen. Compass’ Maria Manuche had the listing.

And as 6sqft points out, fellow funny lady Tina Fey – the co-creator of “the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” – will be just a few doors down at 300 West End Avenue where she just bought a second apartment.
