We love when Airbnbers get creative. If you are looking for something a bit more highbrow than renting the “Netflix and Chill” abode in the West Village, why not consider sleeping in a Van Gogh.

This dreamy one-bedroom located in River North, Chicago is a replica of Van Gogh’s famous “Bedroom in Arles” painting. It was built to promote Van Gogh’s “Bedrooms,” a new exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago that will feature all three versions of the painting for the first time in North America, from February 14-May 10. As Elle Decor reports, “the replica nails Van Gogh’s post-impressionist style.”


And what a bargain! At only $10 a night — because as the listing says, “for no other reason than that I need to buy paint” — it certainly won’t cost an arm and a leg (or an ear!)

It is currently booked solid, but the museum plans to release more dates next month shortly.
