Actors Kerry Bishé and Chris Lowell have picked up a very unique property at 196 Sixth Avenue for $2.25 million, according to city documents.
Bishé is an actress best known as a lead on AMC’s drama, “Halt and Catch Fire.” She also appeared in Ben Affleck’s 2012 film, “Argo,” which won an Oscar for Best Picture. Bishé and her fellow cast mates won a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for their roles in the film.
Lowell is best known for his role on the CW drama “Veronica Mars,” where he played the character Stosh “Piz” Piznarski and he is currently starring in the off-broadway play “Jacuzzi.”
The apartment the two actors picked up is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom 1,292-square-foot pad near Hudson Square with 20-foot ceilings. The apartment has distressed brick walls, wide planked floors, arched windows, a big skylight, a landscaped semi-private courtyard and a shower with a “river rock floor.”
