Turns out Leonardo DiCaprio will be getting some gold on Sunday night no matter what happens during the Oscars.
According to E!, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will be helping everyone feel like a winner by serving 5,000 of his miniature, chocolate, 24-karat-gold-covered Oscars at the official after-party, the Governors Ball.
Naturally, the rest of the menu will be just as decadent reports E!, and will include 500 lobsters, 40 king crabs, 35 whole wild salmon 2,000 mini-burgers and as many mini donuts as he can make, to sate the ravenous crowd. “People come straight from the ceremony and everyone is hungry,” said Puck – who’s been feeding the Oscar crowd for 21 years – to E!.
A staff of 900 will be on hand to take care of the night’s winners and losers and to pour their drinks which will consist of more than 2,400 bottles of Piper-Heidsieck champagne, 2,700 bottles of Sterling Vineyard wines and 120 bottles of David Beckham’s Haig Club single grain Scotch whisky.
