London and New York City – the two jewels on either side of the Atlantic Ocean — are both a) amazing and b) expensive. But exactly how amazing and expensive?
We turned to Rightmove and Streeteasy to show us the most expensive apartments (publicly) on the market right now in both cities to find out.
In London, at the top of the list is a £55 million ($78 million), five-bedroom, 8,412-square-foot apartment in West London’s Knightsbridge (the home of Harrods and Hyde Park.) The unit is at One Hyde Park, the first European Residences at the Mandarin Oriental.
Meanwhile in New York City, Streeteasy tells us the priciest apartment is an $86 million (£60 million), full-floor, seven-bedroom unit at 781 Fifth Avenue, aka the Sherry Netherland.
Here’s how they look:
New York is pricer, but is it prettier?
