Actor Michael C. Hall, of “Dexter” and “Six Feet Under” fame, has bought himself an apartment at 160 West 12th Street for $4.3 million, according to city records, considerably over the $4.2 million asking price. Corcoran had the listing.
The 1,586-square-foot apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, beamed ceilings, a chef’s kitchen with Sub Zero appliances, a bathroom with marble mosaic floors and views of the street. The building is part of The Greenwich Lane complex, a series of apartment buildings and townhouses which all face an interior courtyard and are a mix of restored historical buildings and new construction.
Hall just sold his home in Los Feliz, California for $4.85 million, according to the LA Times, which reported the news yesterday. The actor recently made headlines at the end of February for his surprise marriage to Los Angeles Review of Books associate editor Morgan Macgregor. The couple had been together for four years, and this is Hall’s third marriage.
