Talk about owning a piece of history: a group of ancient meteorites – some of which famously crashed in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk – have hit the auction block. Together the collection of space rocks is expected to fetch roughly $4.8 million.

On sale is a meteorite that exploded over Chelyabinsk in 2013, which is expected to sell for more than $430,000; A half tonne shield-shaped stone that is valued at $1.1 million; and a metallic space rock that some believe evokes Evard Munch’s painting “The Scream,” which is estimated at $360,000, according to the Daily Mail.

However, the most lovely stones for sale are certainly slices from some of the meteorites. Slicing the meteorites reveals an almost gem like beauty. Two of those are valued at around $4,300.
