“Million Dollar Listing” had its Season 5 premiere last night, but that isn’t the only reason for the show’s brokers to party.
On Wednesday night, the stars gathered to celebrate the opening of 1 Seaport, a new residential tower that is going up at the South Street Seaport, at the building’s sales office across the street. According to a press release on the event, the sales gallery alone cost the developer, Fortis Property Group, several million dollars to create.
Almost 400 guests attended the party, including “Million Dollar Listing” stars Ryan Serhant, Luis Ortiz and Fredrik Eklund, as well as one of the architects of the project, AD 100 architect S. Russel Groves.
One Seaport will be 670 feet tall and has 80 residences, a 24-hour concierge, a porte-cochère with valet parking, a pool with views of the East River, as well as a “hydrotherapy circuit” with a sauna and “misted water passageway.” Goldstein, Hill and West designed the exteriors, while Groves & Co. handled its interiors. Though there are no prices released yet, Eklund told Curbed in September that the condos will range from $1 million to a lower floor unit to $20 million.
