Last week, Related Companies hosted a bustling party for big wigs in real estate, architecture and interior design to celebrate the launch of its new condo building, 70 Vestry in Tribeca.
Among the 200 guests who attended were “Million Dollar Listings” star broker Fredrik Eklund, Stephen Ross, founder and Chairman of Related Companies, Jeff Blau, CEO of Related Companies, Bruce Beal, president of Related Companies, architects from Robert A.M. Stern Architects (which designed the building), Daniel Romualdez, (who designed the building’s interiors) and Chiu-Ti Jansen, founder of China Happenings. Related Sales LLC and Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group are co-exclusively handling sales of the building.
Though the building is not yet completed, guests of the party were able to tour a model living, master bathroom and kitchen designed by Romualdez. 70 Vestry has 14 stories, and its 47 units that will range in size from 2,400 to 7,000 square feet.
“The Real Deal” reported back in March that the building is seeking a sellout of nearly $700 million, according to its condo offering plan. This means the average condo price comes in at around $14 million. The plan also includes space for 29 storage units and nine parking spaces.
