Tony Award-winning Scottish actor Alan Cumming and his husband Grant Shaffer have listed their East Village co-op after living in it for more than a decade. They are asking $2.2 million.

Cumming is moving on to a nearby townhouse at 404 East 9th Street. He paid $4.65 million for the four-story property in 2014. They’ve been restoring it ever since they purchased it, and now it looks like it will be ready for move in in September.

The couple purchased their four-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op at 297 East 10th Street in 2005 for $1.695 million, according to public records.

The 1,500-square-foot, third-floor apartment is in a redbrick row house built around 1846, according to the Wall Street Journal. It overlooks Tompkins Square and has been renovated. However, Cumming was careful to maintain the original detail.

Noble Black, Esq. and Jennifer Kaufman Stillman of Douglas Elliman have the listing.

“We like those old traditional buildings,” Cumming told the Journal by phone from the set of his new movie, “Battle of the Sexes.” “We’re not big on sliding glass doors.”
