Alexander Wang’s very stylish Tribeca loft has hit the market for $4M

Fashion designer Alexander Wang has just listed his 2,550-square-foot loft at 39 Worth Street for $3.75 million. The designer purchased the Tribeca pad in 2010 for $2 million from fashion writer Holly Brubach.

The one bedroom, two-bathroom co-op has direct elevator access, exposed brick walls, 12-foot ceilings, oversized mullioned windows and restored tin ceiling tiles.

According to the listing the open-plan living space is, “decoratively separated” into a large living room, dining room and den area, while the kitchen has stainless steel cabinetry with white marble counters and a built-in island. And there’s a dressing room, an obvious must-have for any fashionista. The home also has ebony stained wood floors and a whole lot of black furniture – classic Wang.

Wang is best known for his eponymous line and his stint as creative director of Balenciaga (he stepped down from that role in 2015).

According to Curbed, Wang brought in interior designer Ryan Korban to give the space its current monochromatic, minimalist look.

Alex Nicholas and Andy Fink of Corcoran have the listing.
