Toast is a rescued Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and according to her Instagram – which has 358,000 followers – she has no teeth, “like a cute hobo.” Toast is also crazy Insta-famous, and she’s just released her new book, “ToastHampton: How to Summer in Style.“
“Now, fans can enjoy their favorite fashionista canine in ToastHampton,” explains the blurb, “a collection of divine photographs that capture Toast shaking her auburn fur as she models big-name brands in the tony Hamptons.”
It all makes sense! After all, what self respecting Insta-celeb wouldn’t be hitting the Hamptons this summer?
Toast is owned by Katie Sturino and her husband Josh Ostrovsky aka Instagram’s “The Fat Jew.” “The first day we got her…she had all dead teeth, crazy hair.” Sturino told Newsweek. Sturino began dressing the pup up in fancy outfits and taking photos. Now Toast has a cult following (including the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore) and is represented by Digital Brand Architects, an agency that specializes in internet celebrities. “Toast is their only dog client,” Sturino told Newsweek. “They were like, ‘This is a joke.’ I said, ‘It’s not a joke.’”
We’ve yet to decide.
