Don’t you forget about Molly Ringwald’s apartment

Brat pack icon Molly Ringwald has listed her East Village pied-a-terre for $1.8 million.

The redhead actress’ 122 East 10th Street apartment hit the market this morning, according to the New York Observer, which noted that the listing describes the unit as “celebrity owned.”

Ringwald purchase the co-op apartment in the St. Marks Historic District around 2004, and renovated it with “a personal touch.” However, Ringwald saved many of the duplex’s historic details, like the marble mantles and wood-beam ceiling. dating from when it was originally built above an 1861 townhouse.

It features two bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms, a wood-burning fireplace eat-in kitchen with custom stainless steel countertops and marble mosaic floors.

Ringwald, known for her appearances films by the late John Hughes such as “The Breakfast Club” and “Pretty in Pink,” has lived in the East Village for years. In fact, when she first came to NYC at age 18, she moved into the American Felt building at 114 East 13th Street.

Ringwald currently lives in Santa Monica.
