Gwyneth Paltrow and Tracy Anderson are opening a gym in a former movie theater

Going to the movies never seemed like so much effort!

Wellness queen, Gwyneth Paltrow, and her workout bestie, Tracy Anderson, are opening up a new location for their fitness studio, Tracy Anderson Studios, in a space that used to be a movie theater on 59th Street between Second and Third Avenues, Page Six reports.

Though the Post does not mention what theater used to be in the space, we can assume it is the former The ImaginAsian Theater, which was devoted to showing Asian and Asian American films and closed in 2014.

We only hope that the theater is built better than Anderson’s studio in Tribeca, which received complaints in November last year due to the crazy amount of noise it produced. According to the lawsuit, the noise from the studio was “depriving” residents “of their sleep and literally [causing] the Building to sway back and forth.” Yikes.
