Actress Melissa George has bought her ex out of their Art Deco Flatiron apartment

Australian actress Melissa George, best known for her roles on HBO’s “In Treatment,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Good Wife” and the Australian and American versions of the show, “The Slap,” has bought her ex-husband, Claudio Dabed, out of their Flatiron apartment at 141 Fifth Avenue for $1.3 million, according to city records.

The former couple paid $1.8 million for the apartment in 2010. According to a rental listing for the apartment (which is where the photos come from), the 1,205-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with 11′ ceilings, a 500-square-foot terrace, mosaic tiling in the bathroom with radiant heating, and most unusual for a pre-war building, central air conditioning.

We love the Art Deco furnishings from the listing photos and envy anyone who was able to rent the pad when it was on the market for $14,000-a-month.

Dabed and George divorced in 2011, and George has since become engaged to the French entrepreneur, Jean-David Blanc. They have two children.
