Billionaires and architects celebrate new Chelsea skyscraper

The building is still rising but the party has already started. Last week, Brazilian architect and designer Isay Weinfeld feted with Douglas Elliman’s Howard Lorber and Nir Meir of HFZ Capital Group at a dinner celebrating the launch of sales at Jardim, a new-construction condo building at 527 West 27th Street in Chelsea,

Centaur Properties and Greyscale Development Group, along with Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, hosted the private dinner inside the new Jardim sales gallery.

Weinfeld, the building’s designer, was recently named the interior designer of the new Four Seasons restaurant. Jardim is his first NYC building.

Currently five listings are available in the building where prices currently range from $1.9 million to $7.5 million.

The $62 million development will include a private driveway, on-site parking, landscaped gardens, an indoor skylit swimming pool, fitness center, massage room, children’s playroom, tenants’ storage and a bicycle storage room. Completion is scheduled for sometime in 2017.
