Wall Street fool allegedly destroys $20M Hamptons home with a #sprayathon

Here’s a thought: maybe a $20 million home in the Hamptons that rents for $5,000-a-night on Airbnb is not the ideal setting to host a wild, champagne-soaked “charity” bash.

Yet that’s allegedly what Wall Street bro Brett Barna did this weekend, when he rented a 14-bedroom estate in Bridgehampton for a pool party, #sprayathon (how it is identified on Instagram). Among the many shenanigans that reportedly went down were gun-toting midgets and a performance from the rapper Ace Hood.

Apparently #sprayathon is an annual event; a fire started at the party last year held at actor Kevin Sorbo’s mansion in the Hamptons.

The unfortunate owner of this year’s Bridgehampton home, who is planning to sue Barna for $1 million and asked not to be identified, gave the following quote to Page Six. It is so incredible we have copied it in full below:

“Brett came to me dropping Louis Bacon’s name and saying he was a big deal with the Robin Hood Foundation. He said there would be 50 people at the event and it was for animal rescue. But the only animals there were the people, a thousand of them. They drowned themselves in Champagne, they had midgets they threw in the pool, they broke into the house, trashed the furniture, art was stolen, we found used condoms. So many people were there that the concrete around the pool crumbled and fell into the water. It was like ‘Jersey Shore’ meets a frat party. We are preparing a massive lawsuit . . . We’re waiting to serve him. Brett was last seen on Sunday chugging Champagne with two midgets.”

Yes, but it was all for charity; one source told the Post the party raised $100,000 for Last Chance Animal Rescue and that they hired cleaners to leave the place in good condition. Well in that case…

Soooo blessed such a great day. #sprayathon #hamptons #party #squad #sprayathon #july4th

Why the big fuss, doesn’t AirBnB cover this sort of thing? I thought they guaranteed and insured all their transactions. Whoever would be so incredibly foolish to rent out a valuable property through AirBnB anyway?I wouldn’t use it for my doghouse, but not to have anyone on site monitoring the safety and security issues strikes me as quite irresponsible of the owners, but then they use AirBnB, so what do you expect? Otherwise, looked like a real cool/hot party, pool, midgets, orgy and all. Everyone knows champagne makes the best lube there is. How do you get on the invite list for this for next year?

The house is worth $4 million and is under foreclosure, so I would take everything the owner says with a grain of salt. Plus with AirBnb, the rentee pays beforehand. http://www.trulia.com/foreclosure/3039827410-1854-Noyac-Path-Sag-Harbor-NY-11963

How does any of that make the guy throwing the party less of a douche?
