Lake Bell has listed her rustic Clinton Hill townhouse for double what she paid

In a world where actresses totally renovate Brooklyn brownstones … they can list them only a few years later for double the price.

At least that’s what actress Lake Bell — who wrote, directed and starred in the 2013 film “In a World” — is doing. She and her husband, tattoo artist Scott Campbell, have listed their Clinton Hill brownstone at 119 Vanderbilt Avenue for $3 million, nearly twice what they paid for it in 2013.

The historic brownstone was built in 1850 and is currently configured as a single family residence, though it legally can be converted into two. It features a large “walk-in vault,” custom engraved oak floors in the living room (we wonder if Campbell did them), butcher block counters in the kitchen, a soap stone sink, a landscape garden with a fireplace, a custom walk-in closet that “dreams are made of” and a master bathroom with Moroccan tile.

Based on the previous listing for the home, it seems like Campbell and Bell certainly put a lot of work into making it as beautiful as it is. [6sqft]
