Weddings mean bouquets, white dresses, champagne and …. armed guards?
That’s the case for Colby Jordan and Alberto Mugrabi’s upcoming nuptials at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in France. Jordan’s father, John W. “Jay” Jordan, has reportedly sent a two-page email to all the guests detailing the extreme security measures that will be in place during the wedding. “It is my job to develop and implement a Security Plan to enable me to tell you that between midday on Thursday . . . and midafternoon on Sunday . . . the safest place on the planet will be Hotel Du Cap,”
Among the security measures that will be put in place will be ID cards for all guests that they should carry at all times (sorry crashers!) and two security boats that will cruise the coastline at all times. There will also be other measures that Jordan declined to share though he says the wedding “will be an armed camp . . . armed and prepared for any eventuality.”
Colby Jordan is a fashion blogger while Alberto Mugrabi is a art collector, whose family reportedly has one of the biggest art collections in the world including 1,000 Warhols. [NYP]
