High fashion model Kiara Kabukuru has sold her Greenwich Village co-op for $2.5M

Professional beautiful person Kiara Kabukuru has sold her equally beautiful co-op apartment at 40-50 East 10th Street in Greenwich Village for $2,550,000, according to city records.

Kabukuru, whose real name is Alice, was born in Uganda and was discovered as a model when she was 16. She has graced the covers of Spanish and American Vogue (back when models used to be on the cover), though her modeling career was put on hold for a while after she was hit by a truck in 2000. She has since resumed her modeling career after reconstructive surgery and is best-known today as a Cover Girl model. She is also close friends with Gisele Bündchen and is a godmother to one of her children.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment has a wall of casement windows that let in considerable light, a walk-in closet, a windowed chef’s kitchen and a Bang and Olufsen sound system with speakers in every room.
