The best things in life are free — especially if you’re Justin Bieber.
According to Page Six, Bieber really, really, really wanted to spend twelve nights in the famed Sandcastle mansion in the Hamptons (which typically rents for $550,000 for two weeks), but when it was occupied, the home’s owner, Hamptons home builder Joe Farrell, took pity on the Biebs and offered him a stay in another of his homes — for free.
“Their minds were blown, because he didn’t ask for any money,” a source told the Post. And he could have asked for quite a lot — the mansion he loaned the Biebs typically rents for $80,000-a-week.
In return, Bieber treated Farrell and his twelve-year old daughter to tickets to his show, a private performance in their home (which included an unreleased track) and a backstage dinner with him. Farrell flew Bieber to his concert in Atlantic City on his private jet — a move that prompted the pop star to post a selfie of him and the builder with the caption “smiles with friends.”
Now that may just be the most heartwarming story we’ve ever heard. [Page Six]
