Now that’s what we call a makeover! Fashion designer (and daughter of a Beatle) Stella McCartney has purchased a beach cottage in Amagansett for $1.5 million that’s rather modest — but we have suspicions it’s not going to stay that way. According to the New York Post, McCartney intends to either expand or tear down the existing home at 102 & 114 Bay View Avenue.

The house, which was listed for $1.7 million with Douglas Elliman, is only 1,350 square feet, and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is likely not enough for McCartney, her husband and their four children. The real draw, though, is its location; it is right off of the Napeague Bay and has spectacular views and comes with a total of .73 acres.

Once McCartney builds her actual dream house on the property, she will have plenty of celebrity neighbors with homes in Amagansett she can invite over, including her father Sir Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jerry Seinfeld.
