Disgraced Representative and former mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has finally gone a step too far. His wife, Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Hillary Clinton has announced that she is officially separating from the sexting politician, saying in a statement:  “After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband. Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.”

Her announcement came a mere hours after the New York Post published a story that Weiner was still up to sexting ways — even sending a photo of his crotch to a woman when he was in bed with his son, Jordan. Weiner has since deleted his Twitter account.

Weiner was first caught sending the sexually explicit messages in 2011, and then again in 2013 when he was running for mayor. His failed campaign was the subject of the newly-released documentary “Weiner.”

According to the New York Post, the couple moved into a rental apartment at 254 Park Avenue South in 2012. It is unclear where they will move now that they are separated.
