Anna Wintour calls Donald Trump’s ties “hideous” at Hillary Clinton fashion show

America may not have decided yet who it wants to be the next president, but the fashion world sure has. Fashion Week started last night in New York with a political fundraising fashion show for Hillary Clinton, and some of the biggest names in fashion (including Thakoon, Diane von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, Marc Jacobs and Altuzarra) debuted pieces for their “Made For History” line, the proceeds of which all go to the Clinton campaign.

The fashion show was held at Spring Studios in Soho, and designers didn’t just use models to strut their designs: Jason Wu used principle dancers from the New York City Ballet, Altuzarra used French bulldogs and Public School used a step team. Anna Wintour introduced speaker Chelsea Clinton, and in her speech made a point to emphasize that all the “Made for History” pieces were made in America “unlike the Republican candidate’s unspeakably hideous ties.” Burrrrrrn.

Thank you Anna for including me in this historic project #ImWithHer #MadeForHistory @hillaryclinton

The designs are all available now to buy through Hillary’s website. Be quick, though, some are already selling out.
