The man behind the book which divulged the, “diet secrets of the rich, famous, and thin!” has put his Tribeca loft on the rental market.
Dr. Fred Pescatore, the author of “The Hamptons Diet”, wants $18,500 a month for the full floor, 2,800-square-foot spread at 84 Thomas Street.
The newly renovated one-bedroom apartment comes with 14-foot-high ceilings, oak flooring, a walk-in dressing suite, custom lighting, oversized glass rain shower, and exposed columns, pipes and brickwork.
Pescatore snapped up the loft in 2006 for $1.9 million according to city records. He bought it from Angela Ahrendts, the former CEO of Burberry and Apple’s current head of retail. Last year the home was on the market asking $3.7 million.
According to the New York Post, other past occupants of 84 Thomas include the sculptor Beverly Pepper, the poet Jorie Graham and the artist Donald Sultan.
