Actress Tamara Tunie, best known for her role as medical examiner Dr. Melinda Warner in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, has just listed her 4,200-square-foot Hamilton Heights townhouse for $3.75 million.
According to the listing, the five story, 18-feet-wide townhouse on Hamilton Terrace was designed in 1896 by the architect William Storm. It comes with four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a laundry room, a music room, a library/media room, a chef’s kitchen, a butler’s pantry, a glass atrium, a 700-square-foot deck, and original details galore.
According to a past interview with the Wall Street Journal, when Tunie bought the home in 1993, the home was boarded-up and had been vandalized. Renovations involved refinishing the hardwood floors, stripping the original woodwork and molding, installing new plumbing, wiring and windows, and replacing some of the home’s missing mantelpieces.
This isn’t he first time the home has been up for grabs; back in 2014 it was on the market and also asking for $3.75 million.
