Right now, Hudson Yards, Manhattan’s newest neighborhood, is a dystopian hellscape, where only construction workers and fashion models dare go. But slowly and surely the glistening towers that make up Related Companies’ mega-development are opening.
And to celebrate an early milestone — the launch of condominium sales at 15 Hudson Yards — Related hosted an all-you-could-drink party at the tower.
“Today marks an important milestone at Hudson Yards as we officially launch sales of our first residential building, 15 Hudson Yards, and introduce an unprecedented lifestyle offering that redefines what it means to live in New York City,” said Jeff Blau, CEO and partner at Related Companies.
Some of the city’s top restauranteurs — like Thomas Keller, José Andrés and Costas Spiliadis — will soon open eateries in Hudson Yards and their food was on display last night.
Plebs and billionaires alike ate, drank and networked on a massive floor plate high in the building that was transformed into a “verdant oasis” for the event, aka there were plants everywhere.
