Chairman of Tinder breaks up with his 150 Charles pad

Break ups are rough — though in real estate they can sometimes come with a tidy, little profit.

Greg Blatt, the chairman and CEO of the Match Group, which owns pretty much every website you use to find a date (including Tinder, OkCupid, and PlentyOfFish), has sold his apartment at 150 Charles for $12.1 million — only a year after he bought it for $10.5 million, according to city records. So we have a feeling he’s not too heartbroken about his loss.

Perhaps he’s just ready to settle down with one apartment: the dating guru also bought an apartment in Tribeca at 415 Greenwich Street for $10.5 million in December of last year.

The apartment at 150 Charles that he sold has 4,413 square feet, four bedrooms and five bedrooms. Amenities in the building include a lap pool and spa treatment center. The building is known as a celebrity hotspot, and other notable residents of the building include Jon Bon Jovi, Ben Stiller and Irina Shayk.
