Let’s hope shark attacks, drug dealers and hedonism don’t explain why Leo is leaving the beach. The actor and environmentalist just listed his Malibu beach house for $10.95 million.
According to Zillow, the actor bought the 1,765-square-foot oceanfront home back in 1998, and it’s often cited as the home of his mother. Last year the house, built in 1950, was listed as a rental for $23,000 a month.
The beachside bungalow comes with three bedrooms, two bathroom, hardwood floors, herringbone tile in the kitchen, and sliding walls of glass. Plus there are multiple decks with Pacific Ocean views, and a hot tub.
A short staircase leads to Carbon Beach, which stretches from the Malibu Pier to Santa Monica, and is known locally as “Billionaire’s Beach.”
