The proprietors of high-end home-lighting manufacturer Hudson Valley Lighting sold their condominium at 525 Park Avenue to an executive at private equity firm Avista Capital Partners for $16.5 million.

The 3,794-square-foot unit at the 14-story prewar building located near 61st Street features four bedrooms, a paneled library and a reception room. Brown Harris Stevens broker Brian Manning had the listing, the New York Observer reported.

David Littman and his wife Connie paid $13.85 million for the condo when they bought it last year. The buyer is Thompson Dean, a co-managing partner at Avista.

The building went condo in 1989 and boasts fireplaces and high ceilings. [NYO]Mark Maurer
