She might have her sights firmly set on one particularly famous residence right now, but that hasn’t stopped Hillary Clinton and husband and former president Bill, from snapping up a new $1.2 million home in Westchester, New York.
According to the New York Post, the Clintons shelled out $1.2 million for the three-bedroom, 3,631 square-foot home set on 1.5 acres on Old House Lane in Chappaqua. It’s next door to the political pair’s existing property on the cul-de-sac, which they moved to in 1999.
“Rumor has it that the Clintons plan to use this as a mother/daughter house for Chelsea and her kids to visit on the weekends when they want to escape the city and their Flatiron digs since the Chappaqua house has a nice pool and plenty of rolling green lawn for kids to play on,” a source told the New York Post.
According to the listing, the renovated three-bedroom ranch has an open floor plan, pecan wood floors throughout, a modern chef’s kitchen, and built-in cabinetry. The master suite has a newly redone bathroom and two spacious walk-in closets. Plus, just like Ben Carson’s new Florida mansion, it has a few columns too. Perhaps it’s a presidential thing?
