“True Blood” actress Carrie Preston and her husband Michael Emerson just picked up a new penthouse-level pad in Chelsea. The show biz couple paid $3 million for the two-bedroom apartment, according to public records.

The 1,743-foot penthouse is located at 315 Seventh Avenue, a 21-story residential building. Myles J. Horn and ABC Properties were the sellers of the sponsor unit.

Preston received two nominations for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Elsbeth Tascioni on CBS’s “The Good Wife. In August, Preston announced her new role in a TNT pilot entitled “Claws.”

Her husband, Michael is known playing serial killers in films and television series such as “The Practice,” “Lost,” “Saw” and “Person of Interest.”
