Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts is so ready to sell her beachfront home in Hawaii, she’s chopped almost $10.5 million off its asking price. The house, on the North Shore of Kauai, is now listed for $19.5 million. Last year it was asking $29.8 million.
The two-acre estate is known as the Faye Property, for former owner Hans Peter Faye, a prominent sugar plantation manager, and contains a classic 1917 plantation-style home, a guest house, and 213 feet of beach frontage.
According to its listing, the estate totals seven bedrooms and four bathrooms with nearly 3,800 square feet of living space.
The listing photos don’t give away much; but we can see that the main house comes with beamed ceilings, a galley-style kitchen and walls of windows. While both buildings feature a covered porch that faces the ocean.
According to the LA Times, Roberts bought the property five years ago for $13.3 million.
