Miriam Harris has been named executive vice president and co-head of the real estate transaction services division at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, replacing the outgoing David Ehrenberg. Harris previously served as senior vice president in the division, and was vice president at Forest City Ratner Companies in their commercial development group before coming to the EDC. A Swarthmore College graduate, she also holds an MA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard.
Ehrenberg was recently named executive director of the nonprofit Brooklyn Navy Yard board, replacing Andrew Kimball, who stepped down from the role in June. His move follows the announcement that Seth Pinsky, the head of the EDC, would leave for a position at Scott Rechler’s RXR Realty in the fall. – Julie Strickland
