Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon is stepping up her real estate game. The shoe designer just shelled out $18.4 million on a three-bedroom condo at 155 West 11th Street, according to public records.
Her new apartment at the Greenwich Lane complex spans 3,965 square feet and comes with three-and-a-half bathrooms, direct elevator entry, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, oak floors, a chef’s kitchen and Juliette balconies.
Meanwhile, the building itself boasts tony amenities, including a fitness and wellness level, a 25-meter swimming pool with hot tub, a high-end golf simulator, a dining room with guest chef’s kitchen and separate catering kitchen, and a 21-seat screening room.
Mellon also owns a penthouse on the Upper East Side, which city records show she paid $20 million for in 2008. That apartment has been up for grabs since 2014, and is currently on the market for $27 million, while also available as an $85,000-per-month rental.
Last month, Mellon sued her former employer Jimmy Choo for $4 million, alleging the fashion company sabotaged her own shoe line.
