Daphne Oz, co-host of the popular food show “The Chew” and daughter of famed TV doctor Dr. Oz, and her husband, John Jovanovic, have listed their co-op at 140 East 40th Street for $2.495 million, according to StreetEasy recordss.
The listing notes that the apartment it is actually a combination unit of three units, and it does look plenty big. The apartment has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a “dramatic” 50-foot terrace with French doors that lead out to it, an office with its own “climate station” (thermometer?) and in-ceiling speakers. The building also offers access to a planted roof terrace.
And of course, considering Oz made her name publishing a book titled “The Dorm Room Diet,” the apartment comes with a chef’s kitchen that has caesarstone countertops and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances.
Oz and Jovanovic purchased the apartment in December 2014 for $1.625 million. They have two children, so perhaps they are looking for a slightly larger pad that can accommodate their growing family.
