It may not be the Iron Throne, but Emilia Clarke’s new digs in California aren’t too shabby either.

The actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” is the buyer of a light-filled sanctuary in Venice Beach, according to the New York Post. She paid $4.64 million for the home.

The two-bedroom, three-bathroom house is 2,817 square feet, and was designed by architect Abramson Teiger. Judging from the photos, the entire thing looks like it was built to bring light into the house, and the listing notes that it is a “private sanctuary.” It certainly has space for a lot of books, and comes with a massive, floor-to-ceiling bookcase (there’s also a nice, big closet to balance that out).

A wall of sliding glass doors leads to the “lush” garden outside and the 30-foot pool. That garden can also be spied from upstairs in the master suite and its luxurious, spa-like bathroom.
